Started boat racing in 1996 in formula lights. in this class he placed 3rd in 1999 in Saskatoon Sk. Canada.

Moved to F2 class in 2002.

Moved to F1 in 2004 placed 2nd for rookie of the year.

Competed 9 years in down hill ski racing in the United States Ski Association (USSA) & FIS in the Slalom & Giant Slalom.

Currently is a USSA Level 1 coach for the past ten years.
Coaching with the Hidden Valley Ski team in St. Louis Mo. 

Met his wife at the Saskatoon race in 1998, Married her at the Windsor Colorado race in Aug. 2005.

One child: Karissa Sadl born in March 2004.
