Jose, a fourth generation racer, started racing in the SST45 class at the age of 16. Following his father's foot steps, Jose started racing the circuit in 2004 full time. After winning the Champ Lights (SST45) championship and world championships in 2006, Jose is ready to make his jump to the CHAMP 2 class where he will be one to watch.

Jose is currently obtaining his masters degree in Accounting from Florida International University. He is employed as a Tax Accountant at Berkowitz, Dick, Pollcak & Brant CPA's. Jose also is the a head basketball coach for the boys Junior Varisty basketball team at Miami Coral Park Senior High
